I purchased two circular donut towels purely to make children’s swim/beach ponchos. Perfect design. Cut out the centre front neck which made a back facing. Bound one neck with an American Indian style binding for a boy and bound the other neckline with purple and pink Pom Pom edging Embroidered their names inside back neck facing.
Children love them!
The material is like microfibres so dries quickly too. Serves well for a pool towel and dry off as a poncho sun screen.
